This is a cooling fan holder designed specifically for use with a Rigidbot 3D printer equipped with dual extruders. I created this model as part of my Kickstarter kit project for a larger version of this popular 3D printing device, which also happens to be my very first foray into designing and operating a 3D printer itself. Using the computer-aided design (CAD) software known as 123D Design, I successfully brought my ideas to life by generating an easily printable 3D model that accurately replicates this necessary cooling fan holder component. The actual printing process took place using Cura, a robust tool specifically designed for such tasks. With settings precisely tuned at 205 degrees Celsius (suitable for printing with PLA plastic) and a heated bed carefully set to maintain a consistent temperature of 70 degrees Celsius, combined with a print speed of 100 mm per second and layer height established at 2 millimeters, plus additional supports applied in the style known as platform touching line. This approach allows users like me to simply clean off any unnecessary supporting materials from their finished print jobs with relative ease while ensuring they retain their full functionality. After carefully putting it all together, this Rigidbot dual extruder cooling fan holder functions remarkably well and seems fully capable of handling a variety of applications with which I am yet unfamiliar but hope will become a vital component for many projects to come in the future!
