Here's what happens when you're working with the RigidBot Big and you find yourself needing something more than what's offered: a custom clamp remixed from MetalMick's original design for that very robot (check out the original here - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:630479). What sparked my need for a different approach was working with my own RigidBot Regular and wanting to streamline everything. In my quest for simplicity, I set out to design something with a minimal aesthetic in mind. It turned out that not all things can be remade simply by tinkering around. Sometimes they just aren't worth redoing, like MetalMick's work here.
