Rigidbot 3D printer Tramming Jig
thingiverse
Level your print bed in no time with this simple, effective jig that saves you 5 minutes or less of setup. Crafted for compatibility with standard sae dial indicator collars, this solution works seamlessly for most users. You can also take advantage of our design files, designed to be easily modified so you can make the jig your own and fine-tune it according to your specific needs. To get started: 1. Position two 1/4-inch magnets in the two furthest holes. 2. Attach a dial indicator in the main hole for accurate readings. When working with your Rigidbot, use a paper shim in just one corner of the nozzle to establish its correct height above the bed. Now place the jig onto the 8mm rods along the X-axis in that same corner. Fine-tune the bezel to zero on your digital dial indicator. To double-check the other three corners, move the bed once more, and follow this process with moving the jig to those corners last. Initial calibrations complete, further adjustments will be swift, saving you precious time as you continue printing with a perfectly level bed.
