This is a rigid stable Z lead shaft upper holder with a double decker structure. Which holds X, Y and axial loads. Then this reduces axial loads for the Z stepper motor and reduces occurrence of dimensional error by compression of the internal spring of the Z stepper. The official CAD data indicates the Z lead shaft position of the Neptune 3 is compatible with Neptune 2.
