Rigid Palm Sander Vacuum Adaptor

This has been thoroughly tested, and it safely operated my sander - I'll take that as a resounding success. Naturally, I make no promises it will work for you. After making a mess of my basement by cutting and sanding wood, I took matters into my own hands and created this adapter for my sander. It fits perfectly into the space where the dust filter used to be, and I'm confident it will perform much more efficiently. To ensure optimal performance, I included small vents that can be adjusted to reduce pressure on the tool. This was primarily done as a precautionary measure in case of any issues with excessive suction, giving me time to troubleshoot before starting from scratch. The control ring is conveniently located at the end of the tool, allowing for easy switching between vent settings. For those interested in seeing how it all comes together, I've included a Fusion 360 assembly image.
