I required a custom spool holder for the Rigid Ink 1kg spools due to their larger hole size (54mm) and wider body (74mm). This new spool holder will securely hold a spool with a maximum body width of 76mm. The standard Innofil/Ultimaker spools do not fit this modified holder, but replacing them is just as effortless as swapping out the original spools. I started by utilizing the original file provided in the acknowledgement section (Roland Benner) and made modifications to suit my needs by adding a slim base and an end cap, resulting in minimal support requirements and enhanced structural rigidity.
