Rigid chain
thingiverse
I'm adding a zip file with the .scad drawings and two .scad libraries you need to add in the same directory to use some modules. Those libraries are: - A pin library slightly modified by me, but I don't remember which one was, maybe this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:33790 - A herringbone rack library slightly (and badly) modified by me to eliminate the body. The original library can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6011 The code has comments at the beginning to print every single part, and I'm sorry you have to find out how many prints for each piece, but I think it will be simple. Have a nice day! I'm interested in building a flat printer, similar to N.Seward design: https://plus.google.com/u/0/+NicholasSeward/posts/d2vhGGjsFVt?pid=6039614550851948914&oid=104209901845806192943 So this is an attempt to see if a rigid chain is doable with 3d printing. I'm not uploading Openscad files until someone is interested in improving it, because it doesn't work very well... I posted pictures all the way, because it can be of inspiration for someone.
With this file you will be able to print Rigid chain with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Rigid chain.
