<p>I got magball arms so tried putting the Duet SE carriage adapters straight on the Molded Cheapskate Carriages. Worked ok, but there was just too much flex with the carbon fiber arms. If you look at the 2nd photo it compares the joint locations for the various carriage configs. The cheapskate and SE adapter combo puts way too much rotational leverage. Much better with the new custom carriages. And they use the bearing assemblies from the molded cheapskates. Tension adjustment for the bearings is easy with the printable jig - no fiddly eccentric nuts.</p><p>I printed mine with ProtoPasta CF-HTPLA and have had no issues with creep.</p>
