Right-Angled Jumbo 2.1mm Power Plug

Based on the 2.1mm Jumbo power connector, this model is very similar but has a right-angled cable exit, making it potentially neater in certain situations. From another perspective: When creating custom 2.1mm power connectors, I have often found that threading the cable into the plastic housing can be extremely difficult, even with careful planning and attention to detail. This component is a compact case designed specifically for use with a standard 2.1mm power connector, but it has enough space to accommodate a relatively large cable - as seen in the accompanying images, the cable measures approximately 4x8mm in size. To assemble this example, we soldered the cable directly to the tags on the connector and applied a thin layer of insulating tape. This component requires a standard 2.1mm power connector and two short 3mm self-tapping screws (in our case, the screws are actually 3x13mm). It's worth noting that you won't need the screw-on plastic cover that typically comes with this type of connector.
