Animated Female Base Mesh 3D Model This improved 3D model is an updated version of my original Female Base Mesh, released earlier. As evident in the presentation images, the 3D object features a clean topology. With this model, you won't have to spend time creating a clean UV map for your 3D character. The job has already been done! You can proceed directly with painting or make adjustments to the model and recreate a new UV map using its split unwrapped pieces in mere seconds. The 3ds Max file includes layers for each group of objects, organized by purpose. Additionally, each object has a unique individual name. Many 3D models on the market resemble this one, but none have been rigged like mine. With this rigged 3D model, you won't waste time creating your desired gestures for characters. To re-pose bones, freeze the FBM Mesh layer in the layer manager of the 3ds Max file. Select the bone you want to adjust and rotate it on local axes of the object. Repeat this process until each bone is in its proper position. Simple skinning may not produce the desired result when rotating bones for extreme angles. In 3ds Max, the Skin Morph modifier allows you to adjust the mesh shape at specific angles of selected bones. I created six different meshes for such situations and defined them to the Skin Morph modifier. The morph targets are included in the 3D Max file and can be accessed by making their layer visible using the layer manager. A simple walk animation is also included, featuring forty frame sequences. Additional file types, including FBX, Collada, OBJ, and 3DS, were created through 3ds Max 2013. The walk animation is included in the FBX and Collada files.
