Some essential rig fittings for radio-controlled sailboats like the RG65 are now available. Boom clips and bands designed for 5 mm booms can be easily scaled up or down to fit different diameters. To achieve a precise "press fit," make sure to fine-tune your design by scaling it up or down by a couple of percent in your slicer software. Additionally, when assembling the swingrig cross, wrap the ends with thin carbon roving to prevent them from splitting.
