Rifling Head (Single Point Cut Rifling)
grabcad
Single-point cut rifling method tool for small caliber barrels, including .22, is demonstrated here. During IGES conversion, thread features may be stripped off; ISO M4 and ISO M2 threads are used for adjustment screw and set screws, respectively. However, this design lacks a connection between the wedge bit and adjustment screw, requiring resetting to zero in an inconvenient manner but simplifying the overall design. Aim for 30-50 cuts per groove when rifling the barrel.
