Riffled Chuff Tip
thingiverse
This is a custom drip tip for a Troll RDA. I've always struggled to find a chuff tip that fits my Troll with the airflow still intact. So when I couldn't buy one, I decided to design my own. The design features two grooves for gaskets, but I haven't been using them with mine. It fits pretty tightly as is. Update 2/18 I uploaded a larger version of the drip tip that should fit other RDA's besides the Troll. Since I haven't printed it yet, I'd appreciate any feedback on whether it needs to be altered for a proper fit. Update 2/19 After making some adjustments, this revised drip tip now fits flush with the Troll RDA and slips all the way down into the airflow piece. It also has deeper gasket grooves and a redesigned "screen" that adds a vortex and increased coverage to prevent hot oil from reaching your tongue. Print Settings Printer Brand: 3D Systems Printer: CubePro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Notes: It's not easy to print this design, as the lip is very small and challenging to support. I printed mine using natural nylon with 3D Systems INF support material. The inner screen was designed without support material in mind, featuring a curved undersurface. When I printed it, there was still some support needed, so feel free to try it both ways.
