Riese & Muller Charging Cap
prusaprinters
<p>Due to the low quality production of the Riese Muller charging cap for Superdelite bicycles by the company, I got to the conclusion that I have to takeover and solve this problem myself. I designed this cap to go over the original cap without the flap which usually just tears off. This cap is held by a friction fit and it is quite difficult to take out (which is good because it makes the port waterproof.) You will need to print it using TPU and it is not really difficult. I used Filatech Filaflexible40 and it works very well. Once you print it, please be careful when taking the new cap out. You must use two hands and hold the black gasket that stays after the flap tears off with one hand. You do not want to pull out the new cap with the original gasket that is held by two gentle screws. </p><p>UPDATE: I have added the interior part of the charging cap that is thicker so it wont get destroyed after numerous charging cycles. Mine got destroyed, thus I designed this. I posted this for your convenience :).</p>
