Riding mower deck height stop block
thingiverse
This is a deck height stop block for Craftsman and Cub Cadet riding mowers. If your mower has a deck height selector like the one shown in the picture, this should work for you. I made this part because I only ever mow at one height setting, but am constantly raising the deck fully while in motion as I go over sculpted areas in my yard, so as not to scalp the top as I crest these areas. When returning to my typical deck height, I would sometimes miss and drop it too low causing uneven grass height. This stop block solved that problem. Now the deck height lever hits the stop and drops right into place every time. Print the two parts and fit it onto deck height selector plate where you want to set your typical height. You will need about a 1-1/2" long 1/4-20 bolt, a small 1/4" flat washer, and a nut. I used a nylon lock nut. The two parts will sandwich the selector plate notches and hold very sturdily.
