Ridiculously Good Bubble Wand
thingiverse
My wife picked up a bubble-blowing kit for our child a while ago. It consisted of a small bottle of bubble solution with a compact bubble wand inside. After using it just once, she was pretty disappointed and wanted to create something better on her own. "Here take this pickle jar," she said, "I'm going to fill it with my own WAY BETTER bubble solution." "I want you to design a wand that fits perfectly inside the jar," she instructed. "Make it big," she asked. "I want it to blow lots of bubbles without needing me to dip every time." "It should produce lots of small bubbles," she said, "but also some big ones too." So I got to work... ...and what we ended up with is surprisingly ridiculously good. Tips: - When blowing, angle the bubble end downwards. This way, the solution will flow down to self-refill while keeping your hands clean. - For small bubbles, blow quickly through the holes one-at-a-time. - For large bubbles, blow slowly through a single hole. - To create "molecule" or Mickey-Mouse shaped bubbles, blow through several holes at once.
