I wanted a small adapter to connect my stock Ridgid 2.25" shop-vac hose to the little 1.25" hose that comes with the Ridgid car kit (link at bottom). Big thanks to MarmoDewd for his existing coupler which made it trivial for me to make the screw section for the car hose. Bear in mind it is reverse threaded, so you put it on by twisting counter-clockwise. I started with an existing 2.25" coupler but ended up just drawing it from scratch since it is so simple and I wanted a taper for a nice tight friction fit. I put a ridge on so it can be used with a hose that has a coupling clip.
