Ridgewood New Jersey Bus Terminal
thingiverse
The bus terminal in Ridgewood, New Jersey, was created by the renowned architect J. Robert Gilchrist (d. 2008), a master of mid-20th-century modern design. He was a highly respected figure in Bergen County and proudly referred to the modest shelter as his favorite project. In an obituary published in The Record, his son, John, revealed that when the bus shelter was built, "it was extremely architectural and stylish." He added that small buildings can sometimes achieve perfection because they don't require all the compromises of larger structures, allowing architects like Gilchrist to get exactly what they want.
