Ridgeline Hook - Ball Joint (Easy Print)

I had trouble getting Bimer's original design to work with my budget printer, and my attempt to create a universal phone mount was more frustrating than it was worth, requiring a lot of effort and being tricky to pack for travel without breaking. Instead, I modified their original design to print in a horizontal position, which also made it stronger, although it is admittedly less visually appealing. The curved top still prevents the netting or any other material from tearing through it. I also modified their ridgeline connection to have another hook on it because mine kept falling out when I moved around in my hammock too much. Furthermore, I adjusted the size of their ball joint to 17mm, which is a standard size that can be easily purchased online. This way, the grip you use to hold your phone can be more comfortable if you choose not to print one. The flat sides of the ball joint do not interfere with the clip for me, allowing it to rotate freely while still printing easily.
