The Ricon de la Vieja is an erupting andesitic complex volcano in Costa Rica. This massive structure stretches upwards, a towering sight to behold, with a vertical scale of 1.2X. Constructed using cutting-edge 1 arcsecond resolution SRTM data from the Space Shuttle, this intricate landscape boasts a staggering 0.8 million facets. A new and revolutionary version of SRTM2STL software was used to create this digital masterpiece, though it remains unreleased for now. The source code for generating files at 3 arcsecond resolution is freely available on github under the GNU license, awaiting those who seek it out by searching for SRTM2STL.
