My dad needed a new Ricon Catch Latch Base - RI60512, but his old one was completely broken. Since I didn't have enough pieces to fix it, I discovered this affordable plastic block for $50 USD shipped. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any dimension drawings for the part, so I had to spend $50 to buy it. The price is 500% too high. To create a new one, I decided to use the new part as a reference and design it myself. Then, I printed it out of Dupont Zytel, which is an extremely strong Nylon material that's hard to find elsewhere. So, if you need this part, using some Dupont Zytel is better than buying the cheap plastic block. Once you've printed it, you'll need to run a 5/16 NC18 tap through the threaded holes. The plastic expands when printing, so the threaded hole will be slightly restricted. But Dupont Zytel performs well with tapping.
