A clever tribute to a well known meme, easily printable and fully articulated!This is a spooky coffin, complete with articulated doors, and wait… a RickRoll?Yes, that's right. This coffin contains a 3D printed QR code and funny lettering, leading unsuspecting users to rickroll themselves! Just print off one in two CONTRASTING colors, set it in your halloween decor, and wait for a curious someone to scan it…Further Instructions:This coffin prints in 2 parts. The main body, left, and right doors are included in a single file, and are laid out accordingly on my provided print file. If your prints are suffering from warping, consider adding a brim. Please follow the Directions found in "Print Settings" below to properly position the text file.I do NOT recommend supports as it makes cleaning the hinges much more difficult.This file is designed for dual extrusion and IMEX printers exclusively, though others may work. (Bring some glue!) I highly recommend two very different colors so the code will work better.Assembly Instructions:After printing all components, you should follow the below instructions for cleaning the Hinges, then install the corresponding doors onto each side. After the Doors have been installed, take the small "Door Plug" pieces and shave them down until they properly fit into the plug holes on the sides of the doors near the hinges. A little dot of super glue later, and Voila! Your doors are secured. If you are having trouble making the QR work, it may be caused by either printing the QR code in a color to close to the coffin, or excess stringing.A picture of the QR code is available in the Project Pictures.I am not Rick Astley and all credit for "Never Gonna Give You Up", of course goes to him.10/22/23Improved QR Code Scanability- Decreased Thickness of QR and Text by ~50% 10/17/23Vastly improved hinge functionality, replacing file "CoffinWithDoors" with "MainBody"This new file adds small holes in the doors and plugs that go in them, preventing the doors from falling off after they have been installed.Follow the new instructions listed and photos for guidance on installing these plugs.
