I've attached a modified version of Rick's portal gun, incorporating a simple yet effective mounting system onto a block of organic material. This upgrade involves adding a straightforward set of brackets and cross members that allow for easy attachment. The screws used are #6 flat or oval head, which I chose to be chromium coated to give it a sleek, metallic appearance reminiscent of a high-tech firearm. The brackets themselves are designed with flexibility in mind, providing a bit of wiggle room during installation. I opted for a wooden block measuring 214mmx92mm as the base, carefully positioning the brackets to achieve perfect centering and balance. Specifically, from the right side of the block, the right edge of the right bracket is 12mm away from the edge, while the left hand bracket's right edge is positioned 119mm from the right side of the block. This thoughtful design ensures a sturdy and visually appealing display.
