Rick and Morty Pinball Portal Protector

Rick and Morty Pinball Portal Protector

thingiverse

I designed this portal protector for the Rick and Morty pinball machine to ensure that the edges of the portal don't get too beat up by the ball. I wanted a design that was both durable and easy to install. This part can be printed then snapped into the portal hole without the use of screws. Printing: Printed using Matter Hackers Translucent Green MH Build Series TPU Flexible Filament at .15mm resolution on a Prusa I3 with 100% infill and 10 perimeters. I printed this with the flare side down and used "brushed on" supports under the arch designed to allow the ball to flow easily into the portal. Post Printing: After printing I used a Dremel to smooth the entrance area. This could easily be done with sandpaper or a file. I recommend you smooth it to ensure the ball rolls as perfectly as possible. Purchase: You can purchase this part directly from me at https://pinside.com/pinball/market/shops/1326-ninjacamp-mods/05107-rick-and-morty-tpu-portal-protector.
