I bought a cylindrical Rick and Morty lithophane that functions as a lampshade from Amazon. The print settings I used involved a 0.2mm nozzle at 0.1mm resolution, taking 24 hours to complete. Nevertheless, I recommend printing with a 0.4mm nozzle and steps of 0.1-0.25 mm for optimal results. It's essential to use 100% infill so that no unusual patterns are visible through the print. This is crucial in achieving a smooth finish. The lithophane and its base were not printed at the same scale, as I manually scaled them in Cura. Therefore, it's advisable to scale them before printing, especially if you don't have the exact lamp model. When choosing a light source, make sure to avoid using incandescent bulbs, as they can cause the lithophane to melt. Instead, opt for a LED light bulb to ensure safe and proper lighting.
