Richard's 18650 battery spacers
thingiverse
Here are a couple of spacers for the common 18650 batteries. 3by4.stl file is a universal battery spacer/holder featuring standard 20.2 mm cell spacing to fit spot weldable fuses from battery hookup. The universal can be used for a 1S12P as I am or a 2S6P, 3S4P, 4S3P, or a 6S2P configuration. I use the universal 3 by 4 on a 14S12P configuration where each of the spacers is configured as a 1S12P configuration. The other two STL files here are the top and bottom for a 3S4P configuration using individual fuses off of the positive leads. I designed and use the 3S4P configuration for some solar lights among other things. I have larger blocks programmed and depending upon how my 14S battery does, I may post larger spacers here in the future. Advice, suggestions and criticisms are welcome. I am providing this for free but I can not guarantee the safety of anything you build with it, you have to do that. Lithium batteries can be dangerous and start fires if over charged, or if too much current is applied or drawn, or if they are short circuited or if they get too hot. If you build a battery pack make sure that you know what you are doing as you need to protect against these and other hazards and you bear sole responsibility for that. On 30 Jan 2020 added the .stl file for a 5 by 8 spacer. If you need one of a particular size, just ask and I will post it. On 6 Feb 2020 added 9by11.stl for a 9 by 11 spacer. It is the largest I can make in one piece flat on the bed of my printer. On 10 May 2020 added 4 by 5 cell .stl file
