Rice Cup

Rice cookers are truly fantastic, but they often come with a small plastic cup for measuring rice that is actually calibrated in an outdated Japanese unit called a Gō. This measurement system doesn't align with any other measuring cups in your kitchen, so if you misplace the cup, you're essentially out of luck. It's really the balance between rice and water that matters most, but my rice cooker has markings inside the bowl indicating quantities based on little rice cups. So, the small cup is extremely convenient, but I didn't feel like splurging on a new cup or buying a whole new rice cooker. Therefore, I researched the ideal size (it's roughly 180 milliliters, or slightly more than three-quarters of a cup) and created it in OpenSCAD. You can easily modify the base dimensions, angle of the sides, thickness of the walls, and volume if you wanted to craft something like a shot glass.
