Rice Cooker On-Off Knob
thingiverse
I've had my trusty 30+ year-old Tatung rice cooker (大同電子鍋) for a long time, and it's been missing a knob on the on-off switch like forever. Not only is this unsightly, but pressing the lever can be quite tough on your fingers too. Despite being built like tanks, this old rice cooker has probably got a few good decades left in it. To restore its ease of use, I decided to make a new knob using 3D printing. The new knob has a slot on the back that fits perfectly onto the on-off lever. I used epoxy glue to hold it firmly in place. If you want to know more about this project, check out my blog post here: http://makeshiftengineer.com/rice-cooker-repair-with-3d-printed-knob/
