The standard low-poly mesh has been optimized for a specific poly count, while being rigged only in Maya versions, with geometry, materials, and textures provided separately for other versions. It is touted as the most accurate and realistic model available on the market. The 3D helmet model can be modified season after season and comes completely ready for use in visualization projects in Maya. To achieve a low poly or high resolution model, users simply need to press one key or three keys respectively, depending on their desired output. Instructions for Cinema4d users involve going to the function menu and subdividing, while 3Dmax users can apply meshsmooth. In terms of specifics, this model has 6,641 polys and 6,954 vertices in its low poly version, compared to 135,856 polys and 2,137,026 vertices in its high resolution form. Textures are included and come in a JPG format with 4K resolutions for maximum quality. The base color, roughness, metallic, normal, and height textures provide comprehensive coverage. However, due to differing disk topologies across various computers, it may be necessary to change the texture path on the destination machine. The 3D model was carefully created based on real-world references, ensuring its accuracy in real units of measurement, high quality, and maximal closeness to the original source. Unfortunately, animation is not included with this model. The files are provided in OBJ, FBX, MB, C4D, and 3DS formats.
