Ribbon Spool Holder
thingiverse
This is a compact container for fabric ribbon spools, designed with small slots that securely hold the ribbons' ends. The spools don't spin as smoothly as I envisioned, possibly due to the slot size being too narrow; a larger diameter slot might improve this aspect. I've included the Fusion360 file for the version I printed here, and you can access the latest one at https://a360.co/2C0TqUu. Although it's not editable, you can download your own copy to customize the design as needed. The number of slots, radius, and thickness are all adjustable parameters. When customizing the design, remember to add a margin to your actual measurements since the model doesn't automatically account for spool diameter and thickness. If you increase the number of slots, you'll need to reselect the cutout step accordingly; unfortunately, I'm still figuring out how to make it select all pieces regardless of slice count. Future enhancements might include adding a lid or rod to secure the spools in place if needed. The internal tabs are designed for a snap-on lid, allowing easy assembly and disassembly.
