Ribbed Light Shade

I drew inspiration from a larger shade my friend had at his house, which I wanted to scale down to fit within the constraints of a 200 x 200 bed print size. To meet this requirement, I printed 30 ribs and the top and bottom ring in wood fill pla, carefully sanding and staining them before assembling and applying a clear coat. The top ring is designed to accommodate a standard bayonet or edison screw light base with a screw-on shade holder, as seen in one of the accompanying images. For a brighter look with reduced shadow, consider printing this design in transparent pla/petg - I'm confident it would turn out beautifully.
