Ribbed Ender 3 Pro Y axis motor mount
thingiverse
I was experimenting with ribbed designs as an infill alternative for using less material while yielding better strength. Here the rationale of the [original mount](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4832197): > This is a Y-axis motor mount for Ender3 Pro. The stock mount requires an idler pulley, which has direct belt-teeth - unteethed pulley contact. This can cause 2mm vertical lines artifact on Y axis of the prints. This mount raises the Nema 17 motor a bit, eliminating the need of an idler pulley. Not really a remix, but I reused the positioning from Dmitry Butyugin mount. ### Print settings Maximal strength when printed with the diagonal side against the bed. Alternatively, the motor face plate can be layed flat on top of a support shim. Use a line width of 0.84mm, 0.42mm, 0.28mm or 0.21mm, depending on your nozzle size. Slicing with Cura libArachne (5.0 or beta) helps with this kind of prints. For assembly, please refer to Dmitry's [instructions](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4832197#Summary). You may use stock mounting hardware on this model.
