RHS (Rack Holder System) Climbing Gear Organizer Description: I made this gear organizer to store my trad gear. There are two versions, one is a single version and the other is the double version. the single version holds about 8 to 10 items in the slot. The double version has two side attached to a hinged handle and holds about 10 - 12 items in the slot per side totaling about 20 - 24 items per side. Number of items will depend on how thick your carabiners are, your mileage may vary. Assembly Note: There are holes (OD 0.090 inch / 2.286 mm) modeled in the hinges of the parts. During assembly, you will need to insert a rod through the holes. I used a steel wire clothes hanger like the ones you get from the laundromat (Measured at OD 0.090 / 2.286 mm) and it was a snug fit. I just cut off a 7in section with side cutting pliers and then cut off the excess after pushing in the rod. You could likely use 13 or 14 gauge steel wire also but I'm not certain. I Chucked a section of wire into a drill and spun the wire as I pushed it in through the holes. The hinge parts may be snug during initial assembly so be sure to have all the holes lined up properly before trying to push in your rod or wire. If you use a drill to help you push in the rod, use a slow speed as to not heat up the hole too much and melt the hinge holes. All three Parts needed for the "Double" Version should be able to fit on a single 9in x 9in build plate and be printed in a single operation. Estimated total print time for the "Double" Version parts is about 8h 10m. The "Single" Version prints in about 2h 30m for one part, but you might as well print two or three at a time in a single operation so you can have multiple. For the Double Version, you will need to print: x1 (RackHolderSystemDouble_PartA_V1.STL) and x2 (RackHolderSystemDouble_PartB_V1.STL) Nominal Dimensions: Thickness 0.375 inches (9.525 mm) Width: 6 inches (152.4 mm) Height: Varies Hinge Hole Dimensions: 0.090 inches (2.286 mm) - PLA will Shrink during printing for snug fit
