RHPS Belt Buckle

I crafted a duplicate of Magenta's Belt and Riff Raff's buckle worn during the takeover scene. This 3D model prints in two distinct parts that must be assembled, finished, and then thoroughly enjoyed! Print Settings: Printer: A high-quality Monoprice Makerbot clone was utilized for optimal results. Rafts: I decided against using a raft to enhance stability. Supports: No support structures were needed, allowing for a seamless print process. Infill: The infill density is set at 15%, striking the perfect balance between detail and speed. Notes: When printing, I found that laying it flat in ABS was an ideal approach. A heated glass bed treated with ABS doped Acetone ensured smooth adhesion and prevented warping. To streamline the process, try printing the bottom layer directly on the bed without any top layers. This strategy saves time and minimizes material waste while reducing the likelihood of lifting. Another member of our community, Carrotstien, successfully printed this part with a vertical orientation (columns facing upwards), making it easier to produce a symmetrical and sturdy replica. Post-Printing: Material: ABS was used for this intricate piece. Finishing touches were applied, beginning with Acetone polishing to reveal its inner beauty. It then underwent rigorous sanding to smooth out any imperfections, before being carefully filled, primed, painted, and ultimately finished off with a glossy layer of Rub 'n' Buff.
