What motivated me to create this play set are several factors. Firstly, I adore the way these shapes connect. Secondly, I wanted to perfect PLA printing on my extended machine after increasing its build surface without enhancing the size of the heater PCB. Thirdly, I needed a test piece for calibration and assessment. In December, Faberdashery sent me a sample set of colored PLA, prompting me to construct something that showcased the range of hues without needing much of any particular color. Each individual piece is challenging to print due to its 45-degree angles, small corners prone to curling if not cooled adequately, and initial contact with the build platform. You can stack these pieces without a base, but it's best to use one for easy organization. It wouldn't be difficult to invent a game where two players attempt to secure three faces of the same color at different levels, similar to 3D tic-tac-toe.
