I designed these Cauls in Fusion 360 when restoring my Rhodes MK1 Piano earlier this year.

I took inspiration from here and several other forums & YT-Videos.
See the plugs in action on Youtube in this playlist, where i collected some clips from my restoration.

You can customize all relevant parameters in Fusion 360 as a parameter (see screenshot).

By that you can use this one file to create plugs
… for keeping the holes in shape after removing the felt with steam
… for installing the felt on the 1st side
… for installing the felt on the 2nd side.

Update:
I added single shouldered and double shouldered plugs with various widths ranging from 3.00mm to 4.20mm, so you don't need to use Fusion 360.

Ideally, you print 20 or more of the same kind, so that you can work in batches.
I had to play around with the dimensions until i found the right thickness for my felt.
The restoration worked perfect for me, my keys have now little to no play while still being easy to press.

Print settings:
Any hard filament such as PLA or ABS.
