His pith helmet is made of rhinoceros skin, pebbled and rough. He has a rifle slung across one shoulder, large caliber- similar to the Westle Richards 600 Nitro Express “India Rifle,” decorative, engraved, and equally foppish in its own way. At his hip he carries a canteen, alongside several African talismans- a tribal mask, a shrunken head, and a fertility doll. A man out to prove he’s a man in the manliest way possible.”
