SHCMS:G.15218, a remarkable specimen of Rhinoceros sp., is on display. This lower jawbone belonged to an extinct type of rhinoceros found in the Siwalik hills of northern India, dating back approximately 2.5 - 5 million years. Measuring 26cm in length, 17cm in width, and 7.5cm in depth, this fossil is a significant find. It was captured using a canon 5DS R camera paired with a Stackshot 3x and turntable to generate 108 images, which were then processed at high levels using agisoft photoscan software. We'd be thrilled to hear from you if you've used or appreciated this model or any others we produce.
