Micro CT scan of a rhinoceros beetle taken at the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum on the University of Dundee campus showcases its remarkable details. Rhinoceros Beetle (Dynastinae) - DUNUC 2836, measuring 7cm in length, was scanned with a high-tech Nikon XT H 225ST micro CT scanner. The resulting file is converted into an stl format and imported directly into Zbrush where it receives added texture from photographs utilizing the Spotlight function and Polypainting techniques.
