Rhino Head for Laser Cutting

Rhino Head for Laser Cutting

After checking the website, I couldn't find any Rhino model suitable for cutting on the laser cutter, so I created one myself. The design is not overly complex, but it fits perfectly in the shelf of my living room. Print Settings Printer: Laser Cutter Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: For this model, I used 3mm MDF that was readily available. The board was quite long, so you'll need to adjust the shapes to fit your laser or wood sheet. Post-Printing Since my laser cutter is notoriously inaccurate, I had to use some glue (PVA) to secure the plates in place. You may need to do this too; a small drop should suffice. How I Designed This I used a 3D model from 123D Make, which is an incredibly useful tool, but it does have limitations when it comes to laser cutting and CNC milling. If you have access to either of these technologies, I highly recommend giving the software a try sometime.
