The 2.5D Rhino is a member of the Three Layered Animal family. Built from beech plywood, it's robust enough to withstand rough play by kids. Birch plywood versions showcase stunning naturalistic side views and prominent grain patterns that adults will appreciate. Scaling up requires referencing the width of a single foot. This particular build was crafted on a desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft using 4mm poplar plywood as a prototype, complete with a spiral-toothed 1.2mm flute. A laser cutter could be an excellent alternative tool for creating more rhinos. You might even consider crafting an aluminum version and screwing the parts together to create tiny key fobs.
