Custom backlighting systems require a few key components. To create one, you'll need four red 5mm LEDs, some transparent plastic, red tape, silver paint, and thermal glue. The LEDs are the heart of any backlighting system, providing the illumination that makes your custom design shine. You can attach them to the back of your case using a combination of screws and thermal glue. Once in place, cover the LEDs with transparent plastic and secure it with red tape. For added reflectivity, apply a coat of silver paint to the internal space around the lights. This will help bounce light outwards, creating an even brighter glow.
