RGD 33, a Soviet Handgranade, was born in 1933 as an anti-personnel fragmentation stick grenade. Captured by German forces, they used these grenades as the HG 337(r). The RGD 33 has been used by multiple groups: from 1933 to an unknown year by the Soviet Union, and from 1951 to 1999 by the Khmer Rouge, with North Vietnam also using it from 1960 to 1975.
