thingiverse
Peace Button? Reminding many of a "peace sign," here's a simple way to get those LEDs in your drawer 'a sparking: The world's simplest flashlight is also a perfect Morse Code signal / survivalist light, with an RGB twist! (RED danger, BLUE cautionary, GREEN go? Operator identification? Covert color sequence for the day?) Designed by an Eagle Scout to work with 1 - 3 independent LEDs, this design works seamlessly with either a common anode or cathode when using a 4-pin RGB. Decidedly low-poly, this design prints quickly and efficiently. Assembly To ensure button contact, make sure each wire points directly to the center of the coin cell. When assembling, if lights remain on remove buttons, clean contact holes, reassemble, then press buttons hard to "prime" or bend contacts into place. Remove buttons to view/adjust wires if needed. Notes If your printer is running "stringy," use a paper-clip wire to clear the holes if and as required. Be sure to trim off and turn any excess wires back into their hole. Works with just about any size (DIP) LED. To find a source, you can support your favorite national economy on eBay. Legalese Use at your own risk. Not for use by folks who may ingest it or prick their fingers on LED pins. (i.e., Darwin was an optimist - Use common sense?) When using a common 3V CR2032 as the power source, this thing works great and is completely safe to all mammalian life forms, even when wet.
