RGB LED "Mega"star shines brightly for my upcoming Christmas show. This star is crafted with a dazzling array of 146 addressable WS2812B RGB LEDs. Perched atop our massive "MegaTree," which boasts an incredible 7100 addressable RGB LEDs, the star measures approximately 50 cm in diameter (equivalent to 20 inches for my American friends). Perfectly suited for standard 20cm (8") heatbed printing. Multiple pieces can be effortlessly connected using M4 nuts/bolts. Catch a glimpse of the star's breathtaking display with the default Adafruit neopixel library test, as showcased in this exciting video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68AvOlbgXvE. Instructions for assembly: The necessary prints required include: 1 middle-bottom piece 1 middle-top piece 5 wing-bottom pieces 5 wing-top pieces Carefully connect the printed parts with M4 nuts/bolts, and secure the LED strips by gluing them in place so that they face outward from the star's sides. Outer ring: 50 LEDs Next ring: 40 LEDs Next ring: 30 LEDs Inner ring: 20 LEDs Inner star: 5 LEDs Inner hole: 1 LED Don't forget to make your own wire holes, as needed, depending on how you plan to connect the different LED strips. Next, text the LEDs and firmly glue the middle-top piece into place. After this, carefully attach the 5 wing-top pieces ... And now it's ready to shine!
