RGB Jellyfish!
thingiverse
Hey I made this Jellyfish for my girlfriend and wanted to share it! What you need: - 1x Arduino Nano or Mini - 1x Lithium Battery Charging Module like this:(https://www.ebay.de/itm/274347854293) - 1x 5v RGB Ring or an 5v RGB Strip with min 10x led's (when you use an RGB ring it can be possible that its not fit in the middle part of the Jellyfish you need to edit it yourself!) - 1x Lipo battery pack I used the old one from an dead Ipod like this( https://www.reichelt.com/de/en/450-mah-li-pol-for-ipod-5th-generation-akku-ipd-5g-p90646.html?search=ipod+battery&&r=1) - 1x Hollow plug cable like this:(https://www.highlight-led.de/en/usb-connection-cable-on-hollow-plug-5-5mm-2-1mm.html) - 1x Hollow Plug Socket - 1x Pushbutton with at least H 10mm like this (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1058764733.htmlspm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.10bd4ac1b11dUJ) - 1x Self Locking mechanism button with 5,8x5,8mm like this:(https://de.aliexpress.com/item/32696389272.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.6fb92a83ba4ZMa&algo_pvid=cac65784-b024-44df-a992-9f39557f7d66&aem_p4p_detail=202108281657113935069678184000038987377&algo_exp_id=cac65784-b024-44df-a992-9f39557f7d66-32) - 2x M4 Screws (18mm or 20mm i dont know it anymore) 2x M4 nuts - 2x M3 Screws (Long) Crafting: - Head When you print the head of the jelly, you need to put in the nuts when you print it! to screw it together i Used 2 proccesses for it. The first one i needed to print with more infill (20%) to not damage the nut holder in the head, after that the second proccess printer further with 5% or less infill. In the head you put the charging board with the batterypack glued together and solder togehter to charging it. (for more space you can unsolder the USB port on the board.) - Middle In the middle you put in the Arduino. On Pin D10 you solder your RGB Strip (Picture to illustrate) The strip comes in the round spot. on Pin D2 you put your pushbutton. The pushbutton comes in the hole you should glue it in there. - Bottom On the bottom there is the On/Off switch (self locking switch) and the Hollow plug socket the switch needs to connected to the positiv from the battery pack and to the 5v or 3v pin on the Arduino. the hollow plug socket needs to solder to the charging board. Both are hot glued in there - Arduino Code The code is very easy to understand and you can also make ones and put it in the if query Thanks to this site (https://www.tweaking4all.com/hardware/arduino/adruino-led-strip-effects/) for all the effects! I hope you can understand it all.
