RGB Arduino Clock
thingiverse
These are the STL files for an RGB Arduino clock that I designed and built. The files include a wiring diagram and source code for the Arduino IDE. The clock is modular, consisting of seven separate pieces, and prints in 3D form. The clock face was created by one of my students. The clock operates as follows: Blue indicates the hour hand. Red displays the minute hand. Green represents the second hand. Yellow lights up between five-minute intervals for added convenience. For setting the time easily, push button switches allow users to advance both minutes and hours. Check out this video to see the clock in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mti-0LtVpao After printing the modular pieces, I encountered a few issues. The male-female connections worked well for me most of the time, but the end of the clock did not stay together as expected. To resolve this problem, I used glue at the end of each modular piece, near the holes where the LED is inserted. However, I plan to create some clamps in the future so that the ends don't require gluing, making assembly easier and more secure.
