The original shoulder buttons were difficult to print in PLA due to small overhangs requiring supports. The ring attachments also broke off easily during use.They also extended out of the device quite a bit and would catch on things during transport and use. This version can print flat with no brim in PLA and has a much smaller profile. The removal of the overhangs means they can lift out of the device slightly if pressure is applied in a certain way, but in my use this has never happened by accident.
