RFID tag mount for Fitbit band
thingiverse
I wanted a way to have an RFID tag with me at all times without having to carry my keys. I always wear my Fitbit so I made this RFID tag holder to attach to the (aftermarket) band for my Fitbit. Not sure if it will fit to the standard bands - give it a try! I printed this with some really specific settings to get it super low profile - I don't even notice it is there. Inside the print is a round RFID sticker that I cut down to the smallest diameter possible and inserted during the print. Max diameter of sticker after trimming: ~23mm (carefully cut out from a 30mm sticker) Slicer settings I used: Resolution: 0.12 Line width: 0.4 Wall line count: 1 Top layers: 3 Bottom layers: 2 Pause Layer: 7 To add the RFID tag sticker during the print I used the 'pause at height' post processing script in Cura. I also had to use a glue stick to add some glue to the shiny side of the RFID sticker as I had issues with adhesion after adding the sticker.
