I needed an efficient way to install the RFID reader/writer at work, so I found a solution that works best by screwing it into a barcode scanner holder. This mount is designed for versatility, allowing multiple mounting options, but in reality, attaching it to a barcode scanner holder produces the most stable results. Feel free to modify this design to suit your specific needs. The two thin bars on the mount itself are redundant once securely attached, so you could easily remove them and revise the design to create a single printed piece that prints upright instead of needing two separate components.
